Adaptive Devices

Adaptive Equipment is that equipment used to allow a disabled person to operate an automobile which is designed for the masses of non-handicapped people in the general public. An example would be the operation of a standard under-dash/floor mounted gas pedal and brake pedal system. This would be impossible for a paraplegic to operate. So a piece of adaptive equipment in this case would be a hand operated gas and braking system that connects to the floor mounted system
