Ramp Vans

We
carry several brands of handicap vans converted for handicap mobility. To the
left is a minivan equipped with a kneeling mechanism that lowers
the vehicle for easier entry. This decrease the angle of the automatic ramp.
This model is from Entervan who converts Chrysler and General Motors vans for
use as handicap vans.
Picture
to the right is another Entervan.
These vans are available
in most Chrysler models as well as most General Motors models,
including Chevrolet and Pontiac.
Another
brand available is IMS Rampvans, which is now owned by The Braun
Corporation. Many of these vehicles are available with variations on the ramp
that allows for the ramp to fold out or slide out. The slide out model even
offers an economy model that slides out manually (recommended only if you are
always accompanied). To the left you will see the manual slide out option being
worked.
Yet another manufacturer which we carry is the VMI handicap van. VMI converts
Chrysler, General Motors, The Ford Freestar, and now the KIA Sedona. These wide
variety of makes and models from VMI means they have a van for you regardless of
your brand loyalty or preference. The KIA Sedona is new and has some unique
features to it Pictured below is a KIA Sedona with a rear entry ramp for
Handicap Access to the vehicle. The VMI Handicap Van conversions come in models
or "levels". The Northstar is their flagship conversion and the top of the line.
This is followed by their Summit model. Last but not least is the Northstar E
(economy) model.
